Innovation of Chinese Traditional Culture from the Perspective of Digital Cultural Industries
Since the 18th National Congress of the Communist Party of China, General Secretary Xi Jinping has been calling people‘s attention to Chinese traditional culture and bringing forward the vision to promote the creative transformation and developments of the fine traditional Chinese culture so as to build new forms of human civilization. This paper holds that we should have stronger cultural confidence in the digital culture age and that efforts can be made in the following four aspects to stimulate creativity and innovation of traditional Chinese culture, namely, the digital production with the whole link of IP and new technology fusion, the digital communication with audiovisual media and precise distribution, the digital consumption with various network circles and scenes, and the digital virtual platform based on block chain with a new production and marketing strategy as well as a retail model for IP. The paper proposes that the creation of new forms of human civilization requires us to tackle the relationships between the innovation of traditional Chinese culture and, respectively, integrity, creativity and inclusiveness.
