Abstract

The historical orientation of contemporary Chinese literature and art embarks a new journey in the new era. Literary and artistic criticism must deeply grasp the new historical orientation, enhance the sense of the times, establish a broad historical perspective, and guide the creation of literature and art to show the spiritual zeitgeist of the new era in a comprehensive and panoramic way. At present, the development of literature and art increasingly embraces an era of pan-entertainment, great cultural creativity, and the people's pursuit of spiritual prosperity, which inevitably requires the continuous creation of literature and art to give the people a greater sense of cultural access. Within the context of Chinese modernization with firm cultural self-confidence and self-improvement, the so-called “Chinese form” of literary and artistic criticism should base on Chinese literary and artistic practices and public aesthetic experience, especially artistic innovation. Its aim is to promote the subjectivity of literary and artistic criticism by strengthening the spirit of criticism, enhancing the sense of mission, and relying on China's own development in literature and art. Chinese literary and artistic criticism should tell Chinese stories to enhance the status of Chinese literature and art on the world stage, and constantly enrich the function of the interface between the original creation of literature and art, and innovation and creativity in literature and art theory, making it a vivid embodiment of effective interpretation.
